Family Pictures

A few weeks back we had family pictures taken when Katie and Dan were up.
Cambria's friend Chalet was nice enough to take them for us.

Day 8:

Today I am thankful for sleep and my bed:

Who really looks like that when they sleep?... not me.

There is nothing better then a good nights sleep in my BIG bed.

Yep peeps I get a king size bed all to myself.

I love my millions of blackets (not even joking) that keep me warm.

I love the many pillows I sleep with and that I can cuddle up to.

I am so thankful that I have my big bed and for the best sleep I get every night.

In fact it's sounding pretty good right now :)

Today I am thankful for letters of the past

My mom found my dad's letter that he wrote to his family while on his mission.
There were also letters that his family wrote to him.
As I read these letters I learned a lot about my dad's mission.
I also learned a lot about my grandparents, uncle and aunts.
It was great to see the way my dad was raised.
It was funny to see that he carried on some of those things to me and my siblings.
I am thankful for these letters and that I can get a whole new insight of my dad and his family.

Day 5 and 6

I am thankful for my grandparents:

My Grandpa and Grandma Ellis were here this weekend.

It was fun to go play basketball with my grandpa.

It was great to play cards with my grandma.

It was just fun to spend time and create lasting memories with them both.

I am thankful for the examples they are in my life.

It can't go unsaid with out being thankful for my Grandma Ward as well.

Even though she may not be here.

I have still learned so much from her.

I have great memories that I will never forget.

I will always be thankful for the chance I got to know such an amazing person.

I am so thankful for the gospel:

I am truly thankful for the gospel in my life.

To be a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints

It bring me the greatest happiness and joy.

I am thankful for knowlegde of my Heavenly Father.

Of his plan, the love he has for me and to know that I am a daughter of God.

I am thankful for my Savior and all he did for me.

I am thankful for the atonement that I can use it in my everyday life.

I am thankful for a living prophet that leads and guides us.

I am thankful for the temples, I can't wait to go inside one day.

I am thankful for the chance I have to pray and communicate with my father in heaven.

I am thankful for the priesthood and that I have worthy priesthood holders in my own home.

Day 4:

Today I am thankful for teachable moments:

Chet sold his truck and the guy was finally coming to get it in SLC.

He asked if I would follow him in his new truck so he had a way of getting home.

I was super nervous....Why??

#1- I would be driving Chet's new truck....which he got a week ago.

#2- I don't have a lot of experiencing driving to SLC by myself.

Needless to say I am thankful for times like this to teach me.

I don't know why I get so worked up or nervous about silly things like this.

I have learned don't take life so seriously! Think positive thoughts and RELAX!

Thankful project

I ran across this Thankful Project on another blog.
I love this idea and want to give it a shot.
Every day you just post something your thankful for.
Easy enough for me :)
I know I am starting a few day late so I will just skip through to day 3
Day 3:

I'm so thankful for Chet.

I don't think that is a suprise to anyone.

He truly is the the #1 thing I am most thankful for in my life.

I am the happiest I have ever been and every day just gets better.

He bring out the best in me, makes me laugh, pushes me to face fears and to truly know what love is.

He works so hard, always so determined and never gives up.

I look up to him and have become a better person because of his example.
